Grilled Asparagus

Very simple, but in my opinion the best and most flavorful way to cook asparagus

  • 1 bunch of asparagus
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Cut the bottom inch to an inch and a half of the stem off of the asparagus.
Toss the asparagus with the olive oil and liberally add the salt and pepper.
Grill the asparagus over medium high heat for 2 to 3 minutes, turn and grill for another 2 to 3 minutes. You are looking for a little char on the asparagus but not too much. The asparagus are done when they are just slightly tender when squeezed with a pair of tongs.
